E-tags

This story in The Times of 5 February 2011 tells how e-tags will be used on cars to generate funds and pay off road improvements. I have never seen e-tags being used and this article nicely explains how it is used in a local situation.
The roads included in the GFIP are the N1 from Pretoria East to Golden Highway south west of Johannesburg, the R21 from the N1 to the N12 near Rondebuilt Road, the N3 from Buccleuch in the north to a little beyond Barry Marais Road south east of Johannesburg, and the N12 from near Putfontein east of Johannesburg to where the N12 joins the N1 near the Golden Highway. http://www.timeslive.co.za/local/article894546.ece/Motorists-to-pay-66-cents-per-km
I would guess that this is the type of exam question showing new trends of ICT. Last year the exam paper had questions on the e-reader, Facebook and GPS as examples of new trends. I think this may be important!
